The Dementia Momentum Appeal March 2018
With dementia now the second leading cause of death in Australia and a person diagnosed with the disease somewhere in the world every 3 seconds, the challenges of overcoming Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias is clearly confronting.
The Dementia Momentum is a movement to bring researchers and the corporate and philanthropic community together to change the future of dementia incidence. As a leading multidisciplinary brain research centre led by internationally acclaimed Professors Henry Brodaty and Perminder Sachdev, the Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing (CHeBA) is well placed to take on this challenge. The goal with CHeBA’s research is to determine which risk and protective factors for Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias are universal.
To do this they need all the research funding support possible and as such Colliers
International Residential is the proud partner of The Dementia Momentum Appeal; raising funds for research to change the future of this insidious disease.
We call upon all of you to give generously this March and help us raise $100,000 in 2018 for CHeBA which will make a difference to the future of ourselves, our children and our grandchildren.
Managing Director Peter Chittenden hopes you are inspired to invest in positive change.
